This friendly group meets twice a month on Thursday afternoons, in a Member’s home, located in Chigwell, to improve their conversational French. The level is Intermediate and the group has mixed strengths in the language. Anyone interested in joining would be most welcome to join us to see if the group is a good fit for them. The atmosphere is encouraging, with everyone wanting to improve their confidence in spoken French and to widen their vocabularies and command of grammar.

We discuss and translate articles from the magazine “Rendez-Vous”, to which members are invited to subscribe. We also listen to a variety of French speakers to improve listening and comprehension skills.

Members set aside some time before each meeting to read in advance the articles to be discussed.
