Events are a great opportunity for members to enjoy general social interaction and create new friendships. Typical events are a mixture of outings, social meetups and monthly meetings - something for everyone.

Spring Break in the Isle of Wight
Forty-three EFu3a members enjoyed this years spring break at Warners Bembridge on the Isle of Wight. Over eight days our coach took us sight seeing, shopping, visiting cafe's and at the hotel there was bowling, table tennis and great meals, all in a beautiful coastal setting by the beach.
The Epping Ongar u3a Steam Locomotive Trip
Thirty EFu3a members took the Heritage bus from Epping then boarded the steam train at North Weald for the journey to Ongar station. Here we were served a delicious lunch of fish, sausages or veggie burger and chips. Then it was back on the train for a short trip through Epping Forest, whilst we enjoyed a refreshing ice cream, before reversing our journey back to Epping.
Just picked up my phone to say thank you for such a lovely day. We are still full from our fish and chips!
