This group meets on alternate Tuesdays from February to November. Members are notified in advance about when and where to meet. The walks start from different locations in and around Epping/Hainault Forest and follow various routes. Members provide their own transportation to the start points. Walks are usually around 4 miles in length, start between 10.45 and 11.00 and usually finish by 1.00pm. There is an opportunity for members to have lunch at the end of the walk at a nearby pub or eatery but lunch is NOT part of the u3a activity. Walks are led by members of the group; there is an annual meeting to agree dates/leaders for the following year.
