A new small informal Writing Group for a maximum of 8 Members will commence on 12^th October 2026 and will be held fortnightly at the Convenor’s house in Loughton, on Monday afternoons from 2.30-4.30pm. There some is parking space available on the front drive and free parking along the road.

The Group will compile short stories based on topics or an image selected by Members of the Group. You do not have to have any previous writing experience to join and can use handwriting or a silent iPad. There will be no harsh critique of Members’ efforts only group discussion and encouragement. Spelling will not be an issue, neither will good handwriting be of importance. The cost of attending this Group is £1 per session and tea/coffee and biscuit refreshments will be provided, during the mid-session break.
